I had a busy week and I'm looking forward to the weekend to relax. Monday I recovered from the Walk, Tuesday I had acupuncture and a massage from my friend Dena, and Wednesday I volunteered at the radio station. It was really hectic there this week. We had two bands performing and lots of people picking up tickets and volunteers coming in for a mailing party.
Today I went to the doctor for a checkup and tomorrow I am heading to the gym. Then Saturday I am going to see a band with Jim.
We had lots of sunshine this week but it was still a little chilly. Things are starting to bloom and we are all ready for more sun!! Its amazing how much the sun improves everybodys' moods!
I am including some photos. The first is my friend Dena--the acupuncturist that is giving me a great deal on my treatments. Its amazing how much better my neck and back are feeling after acupuncture and massage. I am trying to get in once a month--so far I have been twice. My neck and back get so tight from breathing and carrying the oxygen.
I also took some pictures today while I was waiting for my ride.
Have a great weekend!!!!

TGIF! Wow it does look like spring is in bloom in Seattle. How wonderful is that? Atlanta is in full bloom with lots of yellow pollen and spring storms (imagine all of you remember those days). Glad your life is busy and full of wonderful activities. Love the pictures and all of your news too. Off to watch tonight's storm as the sirens are blaring again....Love you,
Maurine
Hi there! Have you talked to Chris about acupuncture therapy for his back.Sounds like he's in a lot of pain....
Mark
Like Maurine said, lots of storms. Went to get an MRI at 7:30 this morning downtown. I got in the little tiny tube and towards the end of the imaging, storms knocked out the power. "sorry Christopher, we need to restart the machine". I was not a claustrophobic person when I left my house this morning, but now I am!
Chris
Maurine--yes the flowers are all in bloom. So beautiful--hopefully the weather will cooperate!
Chris--sounds like a nightmare with the power outage during the mri! I know what you mean about the claustrophobia. I would have been completely freaking out if I was stuck in there! Did they get the results back to yet? I hope you get some relief soon.
As Mark mentioned---you know I love the acupuncture. Maybe that could help? I guess it depends on if your insurance covers it.
Keep us posted!
One of my friends is an ultimate fighter. He screwed up his back carrying gas cylinders for wielding. He swears by acupuncture. He says he would not be fighting anymore if it wasn't for acupuncture.

Happy this Friday or last Friday.
