MLK day!

I hope everybody is having a good MLK day!  I am heading to the foodbank to donate for my day of service.   Gwen and I are gathering cans and dropping them off this afternoon.   First we are heading out for coffee and then running some errands.  It is a beautiful sunny day in Seattle so we will probably walk to Lighthouse for coffee.  No rehab today because of the holiday so walking will be good.

Tomorrow a bunch of us are going to Town Hall for an inauguration party!   It is going to be amazing.  They are replaying the inauguration on the big screen and then there will be all kinds of music.  Ernestine Anderson--jazz legend is headlining.  There is also going to be gospel and opera. A friend of mine from the station is hosting the event.  I can't wait!

That is all for now--I need to get ready to hit the road!

Thanks for the update. I spent this morning at the hospital for my treatment. They take me in at 7am so I can get to work at a decent time. All the nurses where in our little room watching. We had fun. Everyone seems to be excited.

I will mark you down as a future Atlantian and take you off my "those to be pestered list". What date should I be expecting you?
